The Assistant Patron Services Manager reports to the Sales and Patron Services Manager and is responsible for the supervision and management of daily Patron Services operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
Overseeing sales and exchanges of tickets and subscriptions over the phone and in person.
Supervision of part-time staff of Patron Services Associates.
The Assistant Manager serves as the first point of contact for Patron Services Associates for policy or database training and questions.
A high comfort level with Tessitura or similar CRM database is preferred.
The Assistant Manager ensures tasks and ongoing projects are complete, tracks promotions and will remain informed on current productions and specifics, coordinate and participate in sales campaigns and provide a high level of customer service over the phone, via email or in person.
A successful candidate will possess:
The ability to exercise independent judgement, initiative, ability to problem solve and diplomacy.
2 to 3 years of customer service experience in arts organization or similar environment supervisory/leadership experience a plus
Flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends available.
Experience using Tessitura, or an equivalent CRM/ticketing software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly on the phone
Be flexible and adaptable, able to work under pressure and with a variety of personalities
Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to follow-through
This is an on site position in our offices at New Brunswick Performing Arts Center. And in person interaction with patrons will be required. Proof of vaccination is required for all GSP employees and face masks are currently required regardless of vaccination status.
Salary: $680 per week through June 4, 2022.
40 hours per week, evenings and weekends required
