Artistic Director - Midland Community Theatre

Midland (TX) Community Theatre, one of the largest amateur theatres in the US that produces ten productions per year in three different performance spaces, is seeking candidates for the position of Artistic Director. Ideal candidates should have a bachelor or master’s degree in drama or extensive theatre experience. Additional valuable skills or background include directing amateur productions, educational theatre experience, and production management. AD will be expected to direct four productions per year, and oversee all other productions. In addition, the AD will manage the artistic budget, administer the education program, and work with the Executive Director and Business Director on the overall mission and goals of the organization. Applications will be accepted through January 26, 2024, and the new Artistic Director will be hired in late spring and start working in June 2024. This position will be paid $70,000 plus benefits including insurance and PTO.
