WHAT?: "Tartuffe", by Moliere. Directed by Andrew Woolner.

In this classic farce by Molière, Orgon has brought religious man Tartuffe into his house, where he proceeds to inflict his insane brand of piety on everybody else. The rest of the family and the servants can all can see the new guest is a fake, but will they be able to bring Orgon to his senses before Tartuffe becomes the true master of the house?

Seen it before? No, you haven't. This Tartuffe will feature a new pRose Translation/adaptation by Andrew Woolner, which will set the play in a rural Japanese train station, circa 1941.
