New National Theatre Tokyo Makes Changes to Programme, Conductor, and Ticket Sales For YOSHIDA MIYAKO'S SELECTION  Image

Due to the current Government's border enforcement measures concerning Omicron variant of COVID-19, it became difficult to continue preparations for the performances as planned.
Therefore New National Theatre, Tokyo has decided to change the programme, conductor and ticket sales for "Yoshida Miyako's Selection" as follows.

Programme Changed

"The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude" by William Forsythe and "5 Tango's" by Hans van MANEN will be replaced by following works.

Works selected from NBJ Choreographic Group *details announced below
Prologue, Journey to the Desert, The Cave of Riches from David BINTLEY's Aladdin

*Grand Café from La Chouve-souris, Ballet by Roland Petit will be performed as planned.
*The performance for Works from NBJ Choreographic Group will use pre-recorded music.

Conductor Change

TOMITA Misato will take the baton replacing Marc LEROY-CALATAYUD.

Ticket Sales

The ticket sales date has been rescheduled. Booking opens on 22 January at 10:00.
