Honor a late African American History Month with Ladysmith Black Mambazo, the celebrated male choral group from South Africa. Their distinctive a cappella harmonies in the traditional Zulu styles of isicathamiya and mbube gained them prominence; their participation in Paul Simon’s Graceland album (singing “Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes” and “Homeless”) made them international superstars. Celebrating the 40th anniversary of their first album, Amabutho, they have 3 Grammy Awards and 13 nominations to their name.
