The play, Father Of The Bride, is based on the novel written by Edward Streeter and illustrated by Gluyas Williams. This hysterical yet heartwarming tale tells story of the Banks family and their struggle to plan the perfect June wedding for their beloved daughter Kay, while simultaneously attempting to keep the guest list at a minimum and chaos under control. Father of the Bride opens April 5 in The Matuza Mainstage and runs through April 28. The play will be directed by Bethany Paolini, most recently seen onstage at The Limelight Theatre in the smash hit, Heathers The Musical, as Heather Chandler. ###The cast includes Lou Agresta as Mr. Banks, Lois Dent as Mrs. Banks, Mary Schubert as Kay Banks, Austin Kelley as Ben Banks, Wyatt Matlock as Buckley Dunstan, Alexandra Hudson as Peggy Swift, Jennifer Farrow as Delilah, Katie Timoney as Mrs. Bellamy/Mrs. Pulitzki, Jen Latka as Ms. Massoula, Robert Anderson as Joe, and Grace Shields as ensemble.
