Theatre Jacksonville welcomes Jacksonville native and NYC cabaret icon, Dorothy Bishop, back to town after her fabulous performance as Vera Charles in Mame at the Florida Theatre this summer. This incredible performer will bring twelve (or so) of your favorite divas back to life again — all in one incredible show! The Dozen Divas Show is a high-energy, comedic tribute where this “WOMAN – woman impersonator” ruthlessly yet lovingly skewers iconic superstars like Adele, Cher, Stevie, Judy, Liza, Dolly, Tina, Barbra, Patti, and more.
With her remarkable voice that spans opera, Broadway, and pop, Dorothy masterfully impersonates the unique vocal styles of each diva. Charming, hilarious, and on-point, Dorothy delivers a cleverly conceived performance filled with some of the greatest music ever written. Enjoy live vocals, stunning on-stage costume changes, and hilarious multimedia diva duets. This one-woman show is packed with humor, talent, and jaw-dropping impersonations that will leave you laughing and in awe. When an impersonator can both speak and sing with every nuance of the original stars, you know you’re in for something special!
