Colonial Crew Revue, a live-action musical/comedy show inspired by the city's days of yore, will begin performances to the public on Saturday, June 21, 2013. Taking place on Colonial Quarter's
custom-crafted stage beneath the stately Colonial Oak in the attraction's 16th century Spanish garrison town section, the show forms the perfect union of entertainment and education, translating the dramatic moments of that period into a high-energy, humor-filled showcase of St. Augustine's Colonial history.

"Absolutely enchanted - that's how the audience will feel upon seeing this show," said Pat Croce, Colonial Quarter's Chairman and Executive Producer of Colonial Crew Revue. "There's simply nothing like this show in St. Augustine. It stands on its own two feet as a unique, immersive experience that is entertaining for everybody."

Full of music, magic and comedy, Colonial Crew Revue showcases the talent of a traveling troupe of performers, the Picolata Players, who are preparing to entertain the troupes at the Castillo de San Marcos. They have, however, become entangled in the long-standing feud between newest member, El Comico, and his brother El Capitan, the captain of a Castillo guard and the man who decides whether or not they get to perform.

"History is unquestionably one of St. Augustine's main draws for visitors and locals alike," said John Stavely, Director of Historic Programming at Colonial Quarter. "With the addition of the Colonial Crew Revue, we've certainly found yet another way to turn education into entertainment through a fun, creative and engaging experience that you'll only find at Colonial Quarter."

The Colonial Crew Revue's debut performance will take place on Saturday, June 22, and will entertain up to 250 lucky ticket holders everyFriday and Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets for adults are $29.99 and children $14.99.

There are also combo ticket packages available in conjunction with general Colonial Quarter admission, as well as sister attraction, The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum. Active military, college students, AAA members, University of Florida alumni, and senior citizens - with ID receive a $2 off discount for adults and $1 off for children. Sangria, wine, draft beer and soft drinks, plus savory snacks, are complimentary and unlimited throughout the show.

As the city's newest attraction, Colonial Quarter is a living history experience with something for everyone to discover and enjoy. Stroll through two gorgeous acres showcasing three centuries of history and listen to Colonial residents tell of their daily lives in the Old World. From atop a 17th-century-styled watchtower, enjoy a bird's-eye view of America's oldest masonry fort - the Castillo de San Marcos - and the tranquil Atlantic Ocean. Two 18th century-styled eateries - a Spanish taberna and a British pub - offer a mouth-watering taste of Old World-meets-modern-day gastronomy. Musket-drill gunpowder, smoke from authentic blacksmith creations, manicured gardens, and sawdust from the ongoing construction of an authentic-scale 16th-century sailing ship all offer a snapshot of St. Augustine's days of yore. Feel authentic artisan creations in its shopping emporiums, sift through coquina sand to find buried artifacts, and create
leather jewelry to take as a souvenir. All this and more at the Colonial Quarter - a unique public/private partnership between the University of Florida, the city of St. Augustine, and entertainment entrepreneur, Pat Croce. For more informaiton, visit www.ColonialQuarter.com.
