Broadway's Kenny Seymour Joins N'Kenge In LEGENDS  Image Broadway's Kenny Seymour will join as Music Director and pianist to previously announced MOTOWN: The Musical and Helen Hayes nominee N'Kenge in the one-woman show Legends: Diana Ross, Billie Holiday, Beyonce' and More with the Jacksonville Symphony at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts on March 23rd and 24th at 8:00pm.

Kenny Seymour was the Music Director for Broadway's MEMPHIS: THE BIRTH OF ROCK AND ROLL, which won four Tony Awards for Best New Musical, Best Score, Best Book and Best Orchestrations. He has arranged for Stevie Wonder's 2009 Presidential Inaugural Ball performance, Fox's "The Singing Bee" and B.E.T.'s "Sunday Best". He's created music scoring for the film Talking With the Taxman About Poetry which won Best Original Score at the Global Music Awards. In addition to being the orchestrating for Broadway's AMAZING GRACE, he is the Music Supervisor/Music Director/Arranger for Broadway bound AIN'T TOO PROUD: The Life & Times of the Temptations. www.kennyseymour.com

The performances will showcase musical greats such as Tina Turner, Ella Fitzgerald, Lena Horne and Beyoncé and will be conducted by Nathan Aspinall. The production will also feature arrangements by the acclaimed Kenny Seymour. Songs featured will include iconic classics such as "Proud Mary", "Love On Top", "They Can't Take That Away" and "Respect". In addition, Kenny Seymour will conduct the world premiere of one of his original symphonic compositions entitled A DREAM REALIZED.

N'Kenge, who's been described by the NY Times as "a classically trained Diva that can stretch from Broadway, Pop, Soul to Opera, NY Post described N'Kenge as "Electrifying" in her origination of the role of Mary Wells in MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL on Broadway and made her West End debut starring in THE GENIUS OF Ray Charles.
