9/11 We Will (Never) Forget

Written, produced and performed by Alhambra Stage Manager Jason Nettle...promises a moving, inspirational (not sad) look at the events of September 11.

Winner of the 2012 Orlando Fringe Festival, 9/11: We Will Forget is a one man show written and performed by Jason Nettle based on the events of September 11th. Nettle plays 17 New Yorkers who were affected by the day's events in drastically different ways and how they're dealing with them. This critically acclaimed show is a must-see for anyone who wants to commemorate this fateful day - and for those who were too young to understand it when it happened.

"Nettle looks at multiple vignettes that explore all the basic human emotions from panic to fight or flight to rage and grief and even humor and hopefulness...it is well executed and avoids dropping into the excessively maudlin. It got an ovation and deserved it."
-- Karl Gauze, Ink19.com

Nettle was living in New York on that horrible day and has used his personal experience along with his friends', neighbors', and the thousands of details he has resear ched from personal accounts in the years following to write this show that will connect with you in some way. The show is educational, inspirational, and eye opening to the thoughts and behaviors of those affected in the city that was attacked. Did you swear you wouldn't forget? Have you kept that promise? The show contains strong language and graphic details.

One show only, Monday, September 9 at 8 PM. Tickets just $25. There is no dinner service , but we will feature cocktail service and the bar will be open. Call the box office for tickets. We do expect a sell out.
