ABET to Open 25th Season with MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG

MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG will open ABET's 25th Season, running September 9 10 15, 16, 18, 23, 24, 25, playing Fri & Sat at 8PM and Sun at 2PM.

MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG has book by George Furth and music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Directed by LEE HAMBY, ABET's production features assistant director RHODIE JACKSON, choreographer NIKI STOKES, vocal director ROBIN BRAZELTON, and band director DAMON MARTIN.

This thrilling and compelling Broadway fable about friendship, compromise and the high price of success turns the traditional showbiz musical on its head. Stephen Sondheim and George Furth expertly blend the excitement and energy of a backstage musical with a poignant and emotional contemporary story about the importance of staying true to one's ideals.
