New York, New York: An Opera & Musical Theatre Gala Benefit Concert at Jackson Yacht Club

New York City is known worldwide as one of the greatest cities in the world for opera and musical theatre. To open their 78th consecutive season, Opera Mississippi returns to the Jackson Yacht Club to present, New York, New York: an Operatic and Musical Theatre Gala Benefit Concert celebrating the music for which “The City” has become famous over the last century.

Indulge in the beautiful scenery right at the edge of the reservoir. Enjoy excellent food and drink accompanied by the most popular opera and musical theatre selections sung by some of the finest professional singers in the nation. Be inspired by opera arias from La Traviata, Carmen, Porgy and Bess, and Tosca. Be dazzled by musical theatre songs from Les Misérables, West Side Story, Chicago, The Color Purple, Into the Woods, On the Town, and… of course, New York, New York!
