The University of Mississippi's theater department put on a show to celebrate the donation of Ellis Nassour's work, Honky Tonk Angel. Scroll down for photos!
Nassour recently unveiled his work, Honky Tonk Angel, to the University of Mississippi. Nassour began donating his work to the University in 2004 and the performance showcased selections and musics from the Mamie and Ellis Nassour Arts & Entertainment, Stark Young, and Herschel Brickell Collections.
The performance was showcased in Meek Auditorium at 8 p.m. and recalled the life and story behind the legendary Patsy Cline and was directed by Theatre Arts chair Rene Pulliam. The cast was comprised of Cayley Smith as Patsy, Nathan Burke, Sarah Burney, Nina Farris, Garrison Gibbons, Morgan Gray, Tess Gutherz, David McKell, Max Matton, Dori Meifert, Christopher Miller, Rachel Staton, Skyler Thomas, and Stephen Wagner.
