It's Back to School time! BroadwayWorld.com, the largest theatre web site in the world, is excited to announce the return of the BWW Student Center 2012-2013 edition!

Launched last year, BroadwayWorld.com's comprehensive Student Center features a complete database of every University across the United States that offers performing arts programs. You can search or select an Onstage, Offstage, Technical, Design or other degree types to learn about the many programs available at Colleges and Universities in all states. You'll also be able to view schools' profiles, letting you browse well-known alumni, connect on social networking sites, view upcoming productions, and much more.

The Student Show calendar is also back and filling up quickly with more shows added each day as schools announce their new production seasons! The calendar is an extensive database of student productions at Universities and High-Schools around the country, complete with performance dates, ticketing information and more. Schools can also upload production photos, videos and cast lists to help promote their shows.

Just like we did last year, we will continue to showcase schools, their programs and productions in our weekly 'School in the Spotlight' series. Check out the schools we featured in our High School Spotlight and College Spotlight last year!

We also made it easier for students to connect with one another. Have a question about a school program? Need advice on selecting an audition piece? Ask your fellow students on the dedicated Student Message Board

While we're excited to continue to offer the above features, we want to take the 2012-2013 Student Center a notch higher by involving students, faculty, parents, and other theater enthusiasts to provide the most comprehensive coverage possible. The BWW Student Center team will offer its readers a series of features and profiles, reviews, interviews and much more! If you want to join the Student Center team, or have ideas on how we can improve the service, please contact Romina at romi@broadwayworld.com

Best of luck to all students as they head off to class - we look forward to showcasing your work throughout the year!
