Pagliacci at Teatro di San Carlo

After the success among critics and audience in 2011, Pagliacci by Ruggiero Leoncavallo comes back on scene at San Carlo, in the charming and dream-like production of Daniele Finzi Pasca. The producer interprets the drama through Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Eloize, a poetic meditation on the shifting boundaries between the human soul and the actor’s mask, between acrobats and dancers engaged in circus evolution. The ‘mise en scène’ combines harmonious improvisation and drama stability, experimentation and poetry.
