' Cult ' by Tennessee Williams, now identified with the rude youth of Marlon Brando, Antonio Latella offers a new reading, focusing on the final scene in which Blanche revives the whole affair back in a Chair. "Viewers," says Latella, "will see the whole drama happen in Blanche's head. I think that from this perspective the text can take a contemporary dimension: his mind becomes the place of action, the stage area. Latella confronts irony with the historical interpretation of Brando: does wearing his Stanley shirts with the face of the Hollywood star, surrounds the brittle Blanche rock music, with a look more like Lars Von Trier which Tennessee Williams.
