Yossi, Smart Child of Mine at The Israeli Opera House

Composer Sasha Argov, one of the mainstays of Israeli song, was born in Russia to a dentist father and pianist mother. The home was always filled with musicians coming to rehearse with his mother, and little Sasha started playing the piano by ear when he was only four years old. He began composing little songs, which his mother lovingly notated. Fortunately for us, he immigrated to Israel at the age of 20, and the rest is history. The program, with musicians, singers and dancers, features a selection of his unique, charming and beloved songs.
