Nava wants to renovate the old apartment she bought from her husband Yoel's parents. She wants to break down walls, open new windows, get rid of the worn-out couches and moldy books. But this is exactly what Yoel doesn't want. He was born and raised in the working-class neighborhood, which his father, a construction worker, built with his own hands. He holds on to memories and history and tries to stave off Nava's renovation appetite, as the house empties out of objects and people. A moving drama about the personal price we pay for life changes, about Tel Aviv of then and of now.
