A biting allegory about the essence of human existence.

In the United States of the 1930s, during the Great Depression, a marathon dance competition takes place. The play goes into the backstage of the entertainment world to bring us a revealing reality show, in which couples hungry for bread dance to the bitter end just to satisfy the spectators' hunger for entertainment and voyeurism. Underneath the show, and beyond the impressive dance performances, lies a cynical and alienated world in which human compassion is pushed aside by economic considerations.
