Shakespeare Songs at English Chamber Orchestra

On March 9, 2025, the English Chamber Orchestra will host the premiere of Nimrod Borenstein's Shakespeare Songs at Cadogan Hall, featuring soprano Sarah Fox and conducted by Borenstein himself. This new work sets five sonnets by William Shakespeare and is part of the orchestra's 65th anniversary celebrations. The concert will also include Borenstein's arrangement of Elgar's Chanson de Matin and performances of Elgar's Serenade For Strings and Vaughan Williams's The Lark Ascending, among other pieces.
