Rochale is Getting Married at Jerusalem Theatre

The beautiful, smart and talented Rochale has finally found a groom at her late thirties. Shloime, her father. a widower who is a Holocaust survivor, is beside himself with excitement. But after meeting the groom, who looks perfect, painful memories come up from the wartime in Poland.
When a memory of a certain event is revealed, Shloime decides to call off the wedding. The painful relations between Rochale and her divorced sister are exposed and so does the story of an extraordinary friendship between Shloime and Stashek, who survived the war together and shared a great love to Rochale's mother.
A moving drama by Savyon Liebrecht, based on her story "Rochele's Perfect Groom" from the collection "A Love Story Needs an Ending".
