An elderly actor wakes up alone in an abandoned theater. The pistols going off in the final acts of Chekhov's place become landmarks on the actor's and the audience's soul-searching. The world of the Chekhovian characters is revealed as contemporary and a-temporal at the same time. A play made up of short segments from Checkov's plays.
Before the performance, at 20:00 there will be a lecture by Dr. Olga Levitan of the Department of Theatre Studies at the Hebrew University: "Chekhov - Making us Smile, Laugh, and Cry"
