Cyrano de Bergerac at The Jerusalem Theatre

Cyrano is a man of many talents, but nature "graced" him with an overlarge nose that dominates his face and gives him an inferiority complex that prevents him from declaring his love for the beautiful Roxane. He writes love letters to her, signing them under the name of his attractive battalion-mate Christian. When Christian realizes that it is not his beauty but Cyrano's letters that have captured Roxane's heart, he urges his friend to confess to her. But before this happens Christian is killed in battle. Heartbroken Roxane withdraws to a monastery while Cyrano keeps the secret in his heart.
