The Voca People Bring Their Vocal Acrobatics Back to Israel for Tour

After three years the ensemble that is conquering stages around the world returns for another tour in Israel!

The show, that over 2 million viewers have already seen, will be performed in Israel for the first time in a renewed version with dozens of new songs.

The VOCA PEOPLE are returning to Israel for another tour of 22 shows around the country in March and April. The show will be presented in Israel for the first time and in a renewed version with dozens of new songs and arrangements.

The show that was created by Lior Halfon (Kalfo) and is musically directed by Shai Fishman is an exciting musical celebration that demonstrates a virtuoso use of the human voice alone, without any accompanying musical instruments.
The show has won great success worldwide with over 2 million viewers, and has won the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Alternative Theatrical Experience.
VOCA PEOPLE is a theatrical vocal show, performed humorously while combining a capella singing with the art of beat box creating an incredible range of sounds and instruments with vocal sounds alone.
VOCA PEOPLE group are performing surprising rhythmic vocal arrangements from over 70 all time hits, from classic compositions through known popular songs and movie soundtracks, with unique performances, rich with harmonies, humor and fascinating visual movement.

The show tells the story of 8 friendly aliens from planet "Voca", where all communication is made by music and vocal expressions, which made an emergency landing on Earth. After their landing they sadly find out that their spaceship's battery, charged only by music, is empty. In order to fill their battery they need musical energy which they receive through studying the rich music world of planet earth, with the excited help from the audience.

So far the successful show was performed in over 35 countries, participated in leading festivals including Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and performed on many popular TV shows including The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
