For the first time in Israel, the famous Spanish choreograper Nacho Duato will collaborate with Tamir Ginz and Kamea dance company which will be the first Israeli dance company to perform a Duato piece.
In "Two", Kamea dance company will perform two works: "Gnawa", by Nacho Duato, and "Cleared for Love", by its Artistic Director Tamir Ginz.
By performing "Gnawa", Tamir Ginz expresses his vision to develop Kamea's international repertoire. This collaboration with a choreographer such as Nacho Duato is a great achievement for Ginz and his company and it reflects Ginz's intention that his company will perform masterpieces by worldwide famous choreographers.
"Gnawa" pays homage to the Mediterranean area and to Duato's native Valencia. It is a transformative ritual in which Duato illustrates the sensuality of the landscapes, people's temper and the spirituality of the ritual. His work is flowing with elegance and a sweeping rhythm to the sound of Spanish and North African music.
"Cleared for Love" deals with the search for the purity of the emotion.Kamea dance company, established in 2002, is based in the southern city of Be'er-Sheva in Israel and comprises of 14 dancers from Israel and from around the world with unique personalities that bring an elegant, virtuoso and fresh approach to the stage.
