Performance Art Arena Presents Dance Arena Festival 2017

The 17th Dance Arena Festival, under the artistic direction of Sahar Azimi, cooperates with one of the most beautiful and inspiring places in Jerusalem- the Hansen House. The festival will include dance, video art, music and new media art.

The "Dance Arena" is an interdisciplinary platform to accompany dance artists to new creations and present them every summer. The process that takes around seven months puts the artists and their personal process on top, and the piece is a result of that. At the end of the process these works are presented at the festival for three days in Jerusalem.

Eight new premieres of dance pieces will be presented under the stars.

EARTH (female) - Gilad Yerushalmi

Dog Walkers - Tamar lamm and David Kern

Gloomy Glamorous Summer Days - Yael Sofer Samson

Territorial Opera - Shlomit Fundaminsky

Le Boudoir - Adi Shildan

"Habitat" - Uri Shafir

In addition, workshops will take place at the festival with artists Shlomit Fundaminsky, David Keren and Tamar Lam.
