Holon Theatre presents the 2018 Woman Festival, under the title "Many Like Us", between March 7-10.
In a special show for the festival: Degibri Big Band will host Miri Mesika, Ester Rada and Leena Makhoul in a tribute to the great jazz singers: Ella Fitzgerald, Dinah Washington, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Aretha Franklin and more. March 8, 21:30.
Nasreen Qadri, A-WA band and Ella Daniel along with Jerusalem Orchestra East West in a show of music from the Mediterranean region and beyond. March 10, 21:00.
"Three Heroes - One Reshef Levi" Reshef Levi will host three of the funniest women in Israel: Orna Banai, Lital Schwartz and Hadar Levi. March 9, 22:00.
The festival will host the Khan Theatre in the new well acclaimed play "In the Prime of Her Life" based on the novella by S.Y. Agnon. March 7, 20:30.
Young singer Aveva in a performance that brings the African groove and Tel-Aviv's urban beat. March 7, 21:30.
The veteran director Nola Chilton, in the tenth decade of her life, premieres "Believe, A Day Will Come" - an adaptation of the book by Nobel Prize winner Svetlana Alexievich, performed by three of her students Svetlana Alexievich, Miki Mevorach and Daniella Michaeli. March 8, 20:00 and 22:00.
"Awake" a theatrical and musical evening following the best-selling novel with author Tamar Mor Sela, Dana Berger, Vered Picker and Sarit Vino-Elad. March 10, 21:30.
A spoken word show with the leading spoken word female artists in Israel: Noam Partom, Anat Dreamer, Yael Tal and Naama Lupo. March 8, 21:00.
For the first time in Israel: the first convention for female artists of the performing arts, in collaboration with the professional organizations: Shaham (The Israeli Actors Guild), The Israeli Threatre-Directors Guild and EVE (Independent Artists Organization). Performed by actresses, directors and artists. March 9, 10:00.
Under the title "Many Like Us" the festival will include all these shows and many more, from all fields of the performing arts and bring a broad prism of the feminine world view through creation.
