Amos Keinan's mythological novel comes alive. Following A military coup in Israel, a former soldier turned author is forced to leave his Tel Aviv home and go on the run. Hunted by the new regime for his political views, the hero tries to make it to Ein Harod - a kibbutz in the north of Israel - where there is still a pocket of resistance, according to a mysterious radio broadcast.
The stage is used simultaneously as a backstage and a film set, where a movie is being filmed and projected at the same time. This creates a closed circle of construction and destruction, with each scene building upon the ruins of the previous scene. This is a sophisticated new way to present the fictional plot, which has become a mirror for the broken dreams of the divided society in Israel.
