The international tour of the new highly praised Chichester Festival Theatre production of Guys and Dolls, which The Sunday Times declared as "The most perfect musical comedy ever written", will arrive at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center for only 10 shows, starting on September 13.
The sizzling production with its sweeping choreography will be coming directly from the West End to Tel Aviv with 40 cast members, a live orchestra of 14 musicians, a large-scale set and colorful costumes. With Damon Runyon's wonderful characters- gamblers, crooks, nightclub singers, missionaries and many more, as well as Frank Loesser's legendary music with his numerous loved and classic hit songs. The show is choreographed by the Cuban Ballet star Carlos Acosta along with Andrew Wright and directed by New York's Gordon Greenberg.

Guys and Dolls is a musical that only the West End and Broadway know how to produce. Two and a half hours of pure pleasure and wonderful music. The performances will be in English with Hebrew subtitles.
Nathan Detroit is desperate: he needs money for an illegal dice game and he needs it fast. Not to mention his 14-year engagement to nightclub singer Miss Adelaide whose patience is running out. Enter notorious gambler Sky Masterson, a guy who can never turn down a bet, and missionary Sarah Brown, a doll with a heart of ice. Nathan can't resist a bet with Sky which says he'll make Sarah fall in love with him taking her to Cuba's Havana for dinner and in return he'll provide a dozen 'sinners' for a meeting of her mission.
This New York story about gamblers, gangsters and night club singers features some of Broadway's greatest musical numbers, including Luck Be a Lady, Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat, I've Never Been in Love Before and many more.
