The Maestro and the Mosquita, written by Carmel Winters and featuring music by Stephen Warbeck, is a new family production by Theatre Lovett that explores the themes of innocence and corruption. Starring Louis Lovett as the Maestro, the story follows an artist haunted by dreams of past glory and confronted by a blood-hungry mosquita that threatens his ambitions. This non-verbal musical tragi-comedy emphasizes the importance of collaboration and understanding between vastly different characters. Premiering at the Project Arts Centre during the Dublin Fringe Festival, this show promises a captivating narrative underscored by Warbeck's original score.
