Ruth Moody is the acclaimed soprano voice of the Wailin’ Jennys. She is also a wonderful singer-songwriter who is as comfortable singing with a piano as she is with banjo and mandolin. Her classically trained voice makes her capable of hitting and holding incredibly pure and lovely notes, but it is the fact that her singing is full of feeling and personality that makes her so appealing.
