Russell Maliphant Company ‘Still Current’ at Cork Opera House

Russell Maliphant’s ‘Still Current’ features newly created duets, trios and solos danced by a remarkable company including Maliphant himself, Thomasin Gülgeç, Dickson Mbi and Carys Staton. The award winning solos ‘Afterlight (Part One)’ and ‘Two’ will also be included. A diverse physical language links the pieces, integrating vocabulary from contemporary, ballet and martial arts. The evening includes outstanding lighting by long-term collaborator Michael Hulls, musical compositions from Erik Satie, Andy Cowton and new music by Armand Amar and Mukul.
