Celebrating his 80th year, one of Ireland’s most renowned actors and performers, Des Keogh, gets to fulfil a life-long ambition - to play legendary Irish man of letters George Bernard Shaw. Following the phenomenal success of his show ‘The Love-Hungry Farmer’ by John B. Keane, and hot on the heels of the acclaimed revival of ‘Moll’ at the Gaiety Theatre in which he has been appearing, Des will perform in a hugely entertaining new play, which he has also devised, about the many ladies in the extraordinary life of one of the greatest playwrights of all time. Shaw not only shares anecdotes about the loves of his life, but also his forthright views on sex, marriage and celibacy, in this special evening of wit, passion and humour. George Bernard Shaw was the author of Pygmalion, which became the universally acclaimed film My Fair Lady.
