As a young guitar student in 2007, David Browne Murray won an award for "Outstanding Contribution to the City of Belfast School of Music". After hearing the mighty Tommy Emmanuel in concert, David decided to make the transition from classical guitar to steel string acoustic. Just last August, against some serious competition in both the acoustic and electric guitar fields, he became the outright winner of the 2011 Yamaha Six String Competition, judged by a panel that included Lee Ritenour and Steve Lukather!
With a little help from Charlie Reilly on oboe, you can expect an eclectic mix of original compositions as well as arrangements of great tunes by the likes of Pendulum, Faithless and The Beatles!
Lunchtime Show only.
