Ballet Spectacular Gala at Cork Opera House

Cork City Ballet celebrates the company’s 21st Anniversary with a magnificent production of Ballet Spectacular Gala directed by Alan Foley, starring world-renowned Prima Ballerina Lucia Lacarra and her partner Marlon Dino.

Overflowing with a rich and varied repertoire to delight all tastes, Ballet Spectacular Gala features highlights from Swan Lake, Paul Simon’s Bodyguard, Asaf Messerer’s Spring Waters, Royston Maldoom’s Celebration and Patricia Crosbie’s Playboy of the Western World.

Speaking at the recent launch of this production, Artistic Director Alan Foley said, “After 21 years of bringing the best of ballet to Cork, I am confident that we will meet the challenge once again of presenting a first-class show at the Cork Opera House in November. This is helped greatly of course by being able to attract one of the world’s finest ballerinas, Lucia Lacarra, to perform with the company for this wonderful event’.
