Wexford Opera House is delighted to announce, The Priests in concert, on Friday, May 14, 2010. Tickets have just gone on sale and are expected to sell quickly following their phenomenal 2009 world tour.

The Priests have defied record industry convention by just being themselves; middle-aged Roman Catholic priests who sing. Selling close to two million records worldwide to date, a dream story of world class talent wrapped up in an amazing true story spanning a turbulent lifetime of service, faith and music, with no stunts, no stylists, no make-up, no image and no audio trickery.

The Priests have since scooped the Guinness World Record for ‘Fastest-selling UK debut for a classical act' and been nominated for a Classical Brit. Their rise to global stardom has been documented across the world's print including headline features in the Washington Post, Time Magazine and Observer Music Monthly and they have appeared in TV shows across the world with artists from Tom Jones to The Killers including the BBC's coveted Jonathan Ross show and the News at Ten with Sir Trevor MacDonald.
Their stunning new album, ‘Harmony', features The Priests singing some all-time classics in their own unique way. Join The Priests and their orchestra, with special guest Camilla Kerslake - a recent discovery of Gary Barlow of Take That fame, for a concert not to be missed!

Tickets start at just €30 and are available on-line at www.wexfordoperahouse.ie or by calling the box-office at 053 912 2144. No booking fee applies.
