The Irish News reports that the 20th BELFAST CHILDREN'S FESTIVAL, will take place from March 9th to March 14th, featuring more than one hundred and ten events!
The festival has many exciting things planned for its anniversary season, including a "Big Botanic Birthday Bash packed with family activities including free children's art workshops and theatre and music performances including Egg-tion Hero from Maas Theater en Dans (Netherlands), Dance Exposed from Maiden Voyage Dance and Northern Ireland Opera's Little Lullabies, drumming workshops, Sow & Grow workshops and more."
Other highlights include Branar Téatar do Pháistí's production of HOW TO CATCH A STAR, written by Belfast native Oliver Jeffers. The performance, which features both puppetry and music, will be presented on March 9th and 10th at Lyric Theatre's Naughton Studio.
