Rochestown Park Hotel will play host to a "Starry Starry Night". The society wishes to invite members of the local community and beyond to come together to dine and dance under African Stars.
The evening will commence at 6pm with welcoming gin and champagne, and an opportunity to catch up with friends and other guests. Thereafter, everyone will be seated to enjoy a five course meal, followed by our raffle and an opportunity for whirling and twirling to the music of the nationally acclaimed Cork Pops Orchestra under the baton of Evelyn Grant (RTÉ lyric fm).
We are excited to announce our guest speaker for the evening, Mr. Liam Horgan. A Consultant Surgeon, past UCC graduate and Noonanite, he will be traveling over from the UK to speak about his continuous work in East Africa, and the challenges he faces carrying out surgeries in under-resourced hospitals.
Funds raised from the ball and our efforts throughout the year go directly to the hospitals we volunteer at in Malawi, Zambia and Tanzania this summer. We would like to extend a sincere thank you for the patronage and encouragement we continually receive.
