The Glen Theatre Drama Group Banteer are delighted to return to the beautiful, majestic Everyman Theatre on Friday 14th July, with the hilarious comedy Second Honeymoon, written by Sam Cree and directed by Tadhg O'Keeffe.

Comedies work well for the group who are twenty-six years running with three of the founder members involved in acting, casting and direction. They are also very fortunate to have in the cast their very good friend Frank Twomey of the hilarious Santa Ponsa and Funny Friday fame. Frank has taken some time out of his busy schedule to perform with The Glen Theatre Drama Group.

No strangers to the Everyman, this will be their third year performing at the venue. They began with Wedding Fever, then staged the John B. Keane classic The Field; the hysterical comedy Widows Paradise, and earlier this year they presented The Chastitute written by John B. Keane to a full house.

Rehearsals run almost all year round, massive commitment is required from everyone involved directors, cast, the hard-working crew of set designers and builders, the sound and lighting team and everyone back and front of stage. The group's motto is "Life is better when you are laughing", so come along and enjoy a hilarious night of entertainment. Second Honeymoon, at the Everyman on Friday 14th July, 8pm. Tickets €17 from Box Office or online www.everymancork.com.

The Glen Theatre Drama Group Banteer are also performing at The Civic, Tallaght, on Sunday 16th July, and The Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Sunday 3rd September.
