To mark their 10th anniversary, Roscommon County Youth Theatre have developed one of the most exciting Theatre Projects ever developed for young people in Roscommon. For this production RCYT have brought together past and present members to present four 30 minute plays directed by four of Ireland's leading theatre directors - Catherine Simon (RCYT), Padraig McIntyre (Livin Dred Theatre Company); Jo Mangan (Performance Corporation) and Jason Byrne (Loose Canon Theatre Company).

"When shall we three meet again?"directed by Jason Byrne - Shakespeare's bloodiest tragedy performed by five actors in half an hour. All of the blood, all of the guts, at break-neck speed. Adapted and directed by Jason Byrne, "When shall we three meet again?" features Aaron Byrne, William Clinton, Oisin Foley, Aoife Fox and Noelle Keilty.

"20/20 Hindsight" directed by Jo Mangan - Nobody cares how or why it came to be that Ireland lost it all. The children seem happy, as they've never known a more fruitful time. To send them to school, to teach them to work, to raise them and guide them; these seem like alien concepts in today's world. What would you teach them? The wisdom of books is out-dated, the ethics of civilisation...well, look where "civilisation" got us. Written by the cast and directed by Jo Mangan, "20/20 Hindsight" features Tríona Barrow, Lydia Jones, Imogen Lee and Ruadhán Mew. Original music by Ruadhán Mew.

"The Voice"directed by Padraig McIntyre - Johnny is a normal young fella until "The Voice" starts telling him to do silly things. None of these cause any real damage until he is convinced he has to take things into his own hands to help his friend. The consequences are devestating for many in his small town. A play about teenage life, love and TESCO. Written and directed by Padraic McIntyre, "The Voice" features Claire Conlon, Kenneth Keegan, Holly McHugh, Stephen McHugh and Aaron Mullaney.

"Seven Jewish Children" directed by Catherine Simon - Seven Jewish Children tells a story from the Holocaust to the foundation of Israel through the Middle East wars up to the invasion of Gaza in 2009. It consists of seven scenes in which parents, grandparents and relatives debate how much children should know and not know. The play captures in poetic form the transition that has overtaken Israel, to the point where security has become the pretext for indiscriminate slaughter. Written by Caryl Churchill and directed by Catherine Simon Seven Jewish Children featuresEnda Molloy, Sinead O Connor,Michelle Simon, Denise Tiernan, Diarmuid Woods and Sarah Woods.
