Local drama group Sanctuary Players return to Roscommon Arts Centre on Friday 28th February with another surefire comedy hit entitled 'Pretend Sick'. Under the direction of Donal Kelly, Sanctuary Players promise a light-hearted night of local drama packed with plenty of mischief and laughter. A manipulative and cunning woman, Katie pretends to be sick in a bid to keep her daughter Mary at home. Her son Sean, is rough and self centred, fond of a trip or two to the local and molly-coddled by both his mother and sister. Mary is courting Martin, whom she wishes was spontaneous and less of a wimp - a little more like the educated, confident Englishman who has recently arrived in town. With unexpected visitors and complications in love, Sanctuary Players promise a hilarious farce that is sure to entertain. Tickets priced at €15/€12 are available through Roscommon Arts Centre's box office on 090 6625824 or online at www.roscommonartscentre.ie.
