The Irish Rep today announced its next two shows, Beyond the Horizon by Eugene O'Neill and Give Me Your Hand by Paul Durcan.

Beyond the Horizon

Directed by Ciarán O'Reilly, Beyond the Horizon will run February 15 to April 8.

The production will star Rod Brogan, Patricia Conolly, Lucas Hall,
Jonathan Judge-Russo, Aimee Laurence, Johanna Leister, Wrenn Schmidt, David Sitler and John Thomas Waite.

Beyond the Horizon was Eugene O'Neill's first full-length play and won the first of his four Pulitzer prizes.

Set on a farm in Massachusetts at the beginning of the twentieth century, this drama pits brother against brother for the heart of one woman.

RoBert Mayo, a romantic young poet is about to embark on the voyage of his dreams. His brother Andrew is a contented farmer with a passion for the land.

On the eve of Robert's departure, when their neighbor, the beautiful Ruth declares her love for one over the other, the brothers trade lives with heart-breaking consequences. The Farmer goes to sea and the poet tends the land.

Performances will be Wednesday to Saturday at 8pm, and Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday at 3pm.

Give Me Your Hand

This poetical stroll through the National Gallery of London by Paul Durcan will run from March 7 to April 1.

This special engagement features Dearbhla Molloy and Dermot Crowley as they take audiences on a virtual "stroll" through London's National Gallery-discovering afresh the Museum's masterpieces through the poetic imagination of Irish writer Paul Durcan.

Find out why Cardinal Richelieu finds it "a hard old station staying off the drink" and why Van Gogh's mother "is so hot under the bra."

Performances will be Wednesday to Saturday at 8pm, and Wed, Sat, Sun at 3pm.

Give Me Your Hand is presented with the support of Culture Ireland.
