Two Glasgow drama pupils had a visit from the cast of Grease earlier today.
Paton Hinde and Jack Gray, who are in sixth year Holyrood Secondary, met with Gary Lamont, Tom Parker and
Danielle Hope after classes this afternoon for a photo shoot where the recently opened Holyrood Diner made for the perfect backdrop.
Gary, Tom and Danielle all star in Grease which runs at the King's Theatre until Saturday 20 May..Gary (River City) takes on the role of Teen Angel, Tom (The Wanted) plays Danny while Danielle (Over the Rainbow) is Sandy. Paton, 17, and Jack, 18, were also the leads of their school's production of Grease in 2015. Paton took on the role of
Sandy and Jack portrayed Kenickie. Both are hoping to study drama upon leaving school this month.
Speaking of their experience meeting the cast Paton of King's Park, said: "It was an amazing experience and a great opportunity especially as I want to on to do drama so it's good to understand the profession.
"Danielle Hope gave me some tips on how to pose for the camera so that was a good help."
Jack of Shawlands said: "I thought today was really cool, Tom Parker's a big name so it was great to meet him."
Paton, who is a big fan of Tom's band The Wanted admitted she had to tone down her love the group during the shoot.
She said: "I was a major fan of The Wanted so I had to play it cool."
