Dublin's Gate Theatre has announced that Harris Yulin will star as Willy Loman in their production of Arthur Miller's DEATH OF A SALESMAN. The production, to be directed by David Esbjornson, will open on July 20 and will run through September 4.
The Pulitzer Prize-winning DEATH OF A SALESMAN is the story of Willy Loman, a veteran salesman who begins to lose faith in his family and his dreams as he looks back on his missed opportunities and his past. In addition to Yulin, the cast will include Séainín Brennan, Stephen Brennan, Peter Daly, Deirdre Donnelly, Barbara Griffin, John Kavanagh, Garrett Lombard, Barry McGovern, Elizabeth Moynihan, Rory Nolan, Marie Ruane, and Stephen Swift.
Previews for DEATH OF A SALESMAN will begin July 15. Tickets for previews will cost €20; tickets for regular performances will range from €25 to €35, with €15 tickets for students. For more information about the production and to purchase tickets, visit www.gate-theatre.ie.
