Featuring Carrie Crowley, who starred in 'The Dead School' and with music by Kíla, 'The Adventures of the wet Senor' is a dynamic mix of theatre and music, based on the story of Armada survIvor Francisco de Cuellar's adventures in the North West of Ireland. In 1588 the Spanish Armada captain Francisco De Cuellar washed ashore on Streedagh Beach in Sligo and faced a desperate struggle for survival against British soldiers, violent heretic gangs, and savage natives. His year-long odyssey from Ben Bulben to the Giant's Causeway and onwards to Spain is Ireland's great untold epic adventure story.
