The hugely popular production of 'Alone It Stands' comes to Roscommon Arts Centre tonight 13th & Thursday 14th November, 8pm nightly. The production has been touring for a few years now and its popularity never wane; a sure sign of a fantastic play with a great storyline.

This now legendary story is set in 1978 when Munster Rugby played the mighty All Blacks in a David v Goliath scenario, with Munster Rugby served up one of the sporting stories of the century when they played like their lives depended on it and beat the All Blacks 12-0.

With mesmeric ensemble playing - 6 actors recreate 62 roles in re-telling this story that inspires and perspires in the same evening! The match was never televised so you will have to take our word for what happened and come along and see for yourself what happens when Munster, the Kiwis, the crowd, the dog and the pregnant woman all push and shove to create one momentous day. You don't need to be a rugby fan to see this show-in fact you don't have to even like sport. This is a fast paced, hilarious night of theatre with superb performances and a fun story. For a great night out get reserving your seats now.

Tickets are priced at €20/€18 and are available through Roscommon Arts Centre's Box Office 090 6625824 or online 24 hours a day at www.roscommonartscentre.ie.
