THE HISPANIC ORGANIZATION OF LATIN ACTORS (HOLA) honored their community of artists and creators at the 22nd Annual HOLA Benefit Gala and Awards at the legendary Players Club, last night.
The star-studded event hosted by Yessi Hernández, included the participation of some of the luminaries in the world of music, film and theater including: Rubén Blades, Paquito De Rivera, Benjamin Bratt, Linedy Genao, Nancy Fabiola Herrera, David Zayas, Angel Sigala, TioLouie, and Mauricio Martinez, and Graciela Daniele among others.

In addition, The HOLA León Ichaso Award (named after a posthumous tribute to the laureate Cuban-American film director León Ichaso) was presented to the renowned musician and composer Paquito D'Rivera, the HOLA Excellence in TV Award went to Juan Manuel Benítez; the HOLA Emerging Artist Award to Angel Sigala and special recognitions were presented to Rosal Colón (Between Riverside and Crazy), the Washington D.C. company GALA Hispanic Theater, Manolo García Oliva, (who served as president of the HOLA Board of Directors for twenty years); legendary director, choreographer and 10-time Tony and Drama Desk Award nominee Graciela Daniele, director and choreographer Sergio Trujillo, (the first Latino to receive a Tony Award for the Best Choreography), the Broadway actor Linedy Genao (Bad Cinderella), the theater and television star, David Zayas (Cost of Living); media personality TíoLouie (Prime Latino Media), Antonio Díaz known as El Mago Pop and the opera singer Nancy Fabiola Herrera.
