Tony Award-winning Producer Ken Davenport (Once On This Island, Getting The Band Back Together) has announced the first-ever Producer's Perspective Super Conference will be held November 11th and 12th in New York City at The Mainstage Theater, 416 West 42nd St.
Ken Davenport says, "Every time I'm in a room with theatre people I leave inspired to create more theatre. You're going to see incredibly passionate people on the stage and in the audience all that love the theatre, and it's going to inspire you to do the same thing."
The 2-day conference that brings together writers, producers and theatre professionals will include panels on over a dozen topics ranging from creating stories for musicals to raising money for your show. Ken Davenport and Jennifer Ashely Tepper (54 Below) will be amongst the panel's moderators.
Initial panelists include Tony Award-Winner Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Anastasia), Tony Award-Nominated Leigh Silverman (Violet), Tony Award-Winner John Rando (Urinetown: The Musical), Grammy Award-Winner Glenn Slater (Tangled), Randy Weiner (Sleep No More), Steve Cuden (Jekyll & Hyde), Jonathan Lomma (WME), Beth Blickers (APA) and more.
