All the world's a stage! Shaina Taub and Laurie Woolery's As You Like It, which was named one of The New York Times' best shows of 2017 after itslauded debut via The Public Theater's Public Works, is now available for worldwide licensing to professional companies from The Musical Company (TMC). The singer/songwriter's acclaimed adaptation of Twelfth Night for Public Works will also be available for worldwide licensing from TMC later this year, after its summer return to the Delacorte Theater.

"Shaina is clearly one of the most talented, unique young voices in musical theatre, and we are very proud to represent her work," said Sean Patrick Flahaven, CEO of TMC. "Her collaborations with Laurie Woolery and Kwame Kwei-Armah bring Shakespeare to a wider audience, and in keeping with the spirit of Public Works, theatre groups and communities around the world will find joy in performing their work."

"I'm thrilled that TMC will help bring my musical adaptations of these timeless plays to many more communities and audiences over the years," said Shaina Taub. "I hope new ensembles will find as much power, delight and healing in the stories and songs as we did in our first productions with Public Works."

"Working with Shaina on As You Like It has been a labor of love. From the earliest moments of collaboration, we wanted to honor Shakespeare's artistic impulse and create a piece that speaks to the current world we live in," saidLaurie Woolery, Director of Public Works. "We hope this musical will reconnect a new generation to how Shakespeare's plays are relevant now more than ever."
