The Drama League Will Offer $10 Rehearsal Room Rentals

The Drama League has announced that, due to a generous state grant, The Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Studio Lab (32 Avenue of the Americas) is now available to artists developing and showcasing new work, for only $10/hour. Reservations are available online now, for dates beginning January 26, 2023.

The Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Studio Lab is a private creative space open for rehearsals, classes, readings, workshops, private events, and more. Conveniently located inside The Drama League Theater Center in TriBeCa, less than two blocks from seven major subway lines, the Studio Lab offers unparalleled quiet and privacy for your creative imagination. The space includes plentiful amenities including modern HEPA air filtration, a complimentary kitchen, and furniture and equipment to customize your experience.

The subsidized studio rental program is made possible by the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature. Through their generous support, The Drama League is able to offer these discounted rates to artists, in an effort to help generative art thrive in New York State.
